Her Dark Majesty

1957 Imperial Sedan Southampton. I'd suppose it is a Crown as opposed to the base model seeing it has the little crowns on the front wings, but certainly isn't the high-end LeBaron as it has the normal "Imperial" script on the sides. Somewhat rare to see one without the faux-sparewheel hump on the trunk lid, though. Spotted this somewhat ratty-condition Imp parked on my home street just after the year's first snowfall. In 1957, there were 4,729 Crowns with the Southampton hardtop sedan body produced, so it's a fairly rare encounter, particularly at these latitudes.
